The glass pyramid outside of the louvre was a major inspiration for my design. The building is a good example of a primarily glass structure integrated with an underground area.
The upper pyramid structure is also a parallel to my word of choice for CJ Hendry - worship. By using mostly glass, one can call more emphasis on the contrasting solid objects, in this case CJ Hendry's works. The nature of glass also allows for natural light to reach the underground layer, making the bottom floors much more dynamic.
